An attorney’s look a global warming

As long as the world shall last there will be wrongs, and if no man objected and no man rebelled, those wrongs would last forever.
Clarence Darrow-attorney

It has been a tough week. A lot of work got accomplished around the house, but it resulted in my falling behind in my postings. Part of my lost time was due to reading a 78 page legal argument against man-made global warming, (See Link)

It was a good read because it was written by an attorney who is a non-scientist. He researched the “peer reviewed” literature, as well as the IPCC’s assessment, and came to some interesting conclusions. The neat part is, because the writer is not a scientist, he explains everything in everyday language, understandable by everyone. That has got to be quite a trick in itself, because I do not remember previously reading anything written by an attorney that was understandable by anyone other than another attorney. This guy should really do the same thing with Obama’s health-care bill.

Anyway, although it took me three days, grabbing time here and there, to read the whole thing, it is exceptionally well written and pretty much anyone should be able to follow it. For those who really want to understand (in context) the gobbledygook these so-called scientists have been putting out, I highly recommend you take the time to read it. It is not a full 78 pages. The references listed at the bottom of each page (for those who think he is making stuff up) probably take up a quarter of the paper.

The great part is, this paper is a ready-made outline for the attorneys who will be taking these scientists to court for fraud when this whole thing unravels.

If I was a global warming scientist who had been doctoring my data to promote global warming, I would take a careful read of this paper, immediately notice “inadvertent” mistakes in my previous work, make corrections, and return to the scientific principal for all future research. Then all that would be left to do is pray it is not too late to avoid paying back all those grants and going to prison.

Read it.
